Enjoy two adrenaline-filled days surrounded by jungle sounds and unique species on our guided night hikes, where you’ll discover a whole new world hidden within Corcovado. That’s why we’ve created the perfect itinerary for our overnight tour, so you can enjoy the best possible experience with us:
Day 1
6:00 AM: One and a half hour boat ride to Sirena Biological Station.
7:45 AM: Arrival at Sirena beach and short walk to the ranger station to drop off bags and gear that won’t be needed on the trail—this makes the hike lighter and more comfortable. Begin a 3 to 4-hour guided hike through the rainforest.
11:30 AM: Stop for a 30-minute lunch break at a scenic spot chosen by your guide. Then hike back to the ranger station.
12:30 PM: 2-hour rest period during the hottest part of the day.
2:30 PM: Afternoon hike for about 3 hours to the Claro River. You’ll have a chance to swim and cool off before returning to the ranger station.
6:30 PM: Dinner at the ranger station. After dinner, it’s time to rest—lights out at 8:00 PM.
Day 2
5:00 AM: Early morning hike in the forest until around 7:00 AM.
7:30 AM: Breakfast at the ranger station.
9:00 AM: Head back into the forest for another 3-hour guided hike. Return to the station to pack up and get ready for departure.
12:30 PM: Boat ride back to Drake Bay.
