We begin our journey with a scenic one-hour boat ride from Drake Bay to Sirena Station, nestled deep within Corcovado National Park—a place often called the most biodiverse on the planet, home to an astonishing 3% of the world’s species.
As we arrive at Sirena, the heart of the park, the real adventure begins. You’ll embark on a guided hike of 4 to 5 hours, winding through ancient rainforests where nature is raw, wild, and breathtakingly alive. Along the way, you may encounter all four species of monkeys found in Costa Rica, vibrant tropical birds, white-lipped peccaries, coatis, sloths, and—if fortune smiles upon us—the elusive Baird’s tapir.
By 12:30 PM, after a morning of unforgettable wildlife encounters, we board the boat back to Drake Bay, carrying with us not just photos, but memories of a truly wild and magical world.
